A few of our accountants crossed something off their bucket list this summer and rappelled down the tallest building in Saskatchewan! A team was formed in Regina and Saskatoon and staff entered The Easter Seals™ Drop Zone. The Easter Seals Drop Zone is a knee-shaking, heart-pounding, adrenaline-pumping fundraising adventure that encourages you to get out of your comfort zone and face your fears by rappelling from the top of a towering high-rise building – all in support of Canadians living with disabilities. Ordinary people across Canada are become superheroes for a day as they challenge themselves and change lives.
Our teams from Regina and Saskatoon raised money and on the day were trained and supervised by an expert team, including TACTEN – a team of professionals who rappel in real life-and-death situations all around the world. Costumes were welcome and Saskatoon attended the event dressed up as Ukrainian Nesting dolls.
Lots of fun and money raised went to a great organization. Thank you to our teams for their hard work in fundraising and courage to rappell!
