We had a blast on Tuesday, August 14th spending the morning at the United Way Regina Summer Success Literacy Camp. The camps provide children with the opportunity to keep learning over the summer months when school is not in session avoiding the "summer slide" of learning. Helping students thrive not slide during the summer. Literacy camps are structured to help more children reach Grade 3 reading levels on time, improving their chances of success in school and life. A child not reading at grade 3 level by grade 3, is four times more likely to live in poverty.
Awesome group of creative kids, helping us bring Amelia Bedelia to life with their reading toolboxes.
