Cal grew up in Saskatoon and attended U of S, receiving his Bachelor of Commerce Degree with Great Distinction. He began public practice in December 1992, achieving his CA designation with honors.
After nearly 20 years working in public practice in Lloydminster, he returned to the tax team at Virtus Group LLP in 2025, where he assists owner-managers with tax minimization and wealth preservation planning.
Cal has been married to his wife, Tricia for 30 years. He enjoys time at the family cabin, snowshoeing & hiking with his wife, 4 children and the family dog, Elsa Rose.
