Ali is a Senior Controller for our Comprehensive Accounting Solutions (CAS) team in the Saskatoon office. She joined Virtus Group in 2020 after spending 10 years in the non-profit industry, holding Controller and Director of Finance positions. After spending time in industry, Ali understands the predicament many small to medium size organizations face in the need to have strong financial reporting, while also facing capacity constraints with personnel. The CAS team is able to bridge that gap with our contract services, Ali enjoys alleviating those stressors for her clients and allowing them to focus on their business’ core needs.
Ali was born and raised in Saskatoon, receiving her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, and subsequently her CMA Designation in 2011. She lends her time and governance experience on community boards, most recently completing 6 years with the Saskatoon SPCA.
In her spare time, you can find Ali chasing her two little ones, in the yard with friends, or at the lake reading all the books and having the occasional water gun fight.
