Dan is a Partner in our Regina office with over 20 years in public practice. A graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1996, Dan went on to acquire his Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 1999. Dan joined Virtus Group LLP in 2004 and the partnership in 2011.
Over the years through his work with owner managed businesses and professionals, Dan has become proficient in providing his clients with business advisory, tax planning, succession and financial solutions advice. Dan is committed to building strong business relationships, providing strategic yet practical business advice and maximizing the efficiency and financial well-being of his clients.
Dan is committed to the development and mentorship of Virtus Group’s team members. Dan has led many of Virtus Group’s internal professional development and leadership courses and helped to develop the internal Business Development Programs and Mentorship program within the firm. As a member of the firm’s Human Resource committee, Dan focuses on the recruitment, engagement and support of Virtus Group staff.
When Dan isn’t at work he spends time with his wife and two young girls. When time permits and he gets a break, he enjoys watching the New Orleans Saints and Toronto Blue Jays, playing softball with the Virtus Group team and organizing and taking trips with his wife and friends.
