Deneeca is a Senior Manager based in the Regina office with over 19 years of public practice experience. Deneeca began her public practice career in Nipawin in January 2002, then moved to Regina in August 2005 to further her post secondary education at the University of Regina. She worked at a small public accounting firm in Regina for 16 years before joining Virtus Group in February 2022. Deneeca obtained her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2011.
Deneeca has been involved in a wide variety of accounting tasks for the client. Her goal has always been to focus on giving the client a tailored experience that best suits their needs. She will do the research and spend the time to determine what can work the best for the client. Deneeca has a passion for building long lasting relationships with her clients.
Deneeca has specialized in audit and assurance and has managed an array of audits for not-for profit organizations, as well as owner-managed firms in many industries. Deneeca shares the knowledge of auditing housing co-operatives and other audit knowledge as a member of the firm’s Audit Services Group. Deneeca is very involved in the community and had held positions on multiple boards. She still continues to sit on boards of various community organizations.
Outside of the office, Deneeca spends her time with her husband and two daughters going to the cabin, playing ball in the summertime, and getting together with friends and extended family whenever possible. Deneeca also likes to dabble in the world of photography.
